HCT-agrifood Lab

Our goal is to contribute to the enhancement of agricultural, forestry and aquatic bioresources in a sustainable way, through processes of extraction of bioactive substances and treatment of biomass (waste and otherwise) advantageous from an economic and environmental point of view.

The HCT laboratory is located in the CNR research area of Florence.
It is based on the scientific and technological know-how acquired in the field of hydrodynamic cavitation (HC), a technology with great potential for intensifying a series of physical, chemical and biochemical processes, efficiently and in a “green” way.
